​Job Responsibilities

​

Client Consultation:

  • Conduct consultations with clients to understand their energy needs and goals.

  • Assess the feasibility of solar energy solutions based on client requirements.

Site Assessments:

  • Evaluate potential solar installation sites, considering factors like sunlight exposure, shading, and available space.

System Design:

  • Design solar energy systems tailored to meet the specific needs and constraints of clients.

  • Determine the optimal size and configuration of solar panels, inverters, and other components.

Financial Analysis:

  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and provide clients with financial projections, including return on investment (ROI) calculations.

  • Assist clients in understanding available incentives, rebates, and financing options.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure that solar projects comply with local regulations, permits, and standards.

  • Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact solar installations.

Client Education:

  • Educate clients on the benefits of solar energy, environmental impact, and long-term savings.

  • Address client questions and concerns regarding solar technology and installation.

Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and present proposals outlining the details of recommended solar solutions.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to support business development efforts.

Project Management:

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Technology Research:

  • Stay updated on advancements in solar technology and industry best practices.

  • Provide recommendations for incorporating new technologies into solar designs.

​Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field is often preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in solar energy, renewable energy, or a related industry is beneficial.

  • Familiarity with solar system design, installation, and project management.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and associated components.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems and energy storage solutions.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex technical information to clients.

Analytical Skills:

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for assessing site conditions, designing systems, and conducting financial analyses.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Awareness of local and national regulations governing solar installations.
